Gamepost: What is Space Cartels?

Mark Zygmunt: Space Cartels is an economic browser and mobile game in which we take on the role of a Cartel Boss on Planet X. The entire action takes place in the year 2266.

Our task will be to build a mafia empire and gain more and more control over Planet X.

We will do this by growing all sorts of plants, which we will process into stimulants and then sell through our network of contacts.

We will be running Nightclubs, Casinos, stealing and selling cars. Generally, all the things that the mafia does.

However, we will need to have a cool-headed approach. You could say, like seasoned entrepreneurs.

More specifically, the law of supply and demand will operate in the game. If the majority of players sell a given resource, its price on the market will fall. Conversely, if the majority buys it, its price will rise. We will see all this on the real charts inside the game.

At any given moment, we will have to consider whether it is really the right time to perform a given action.

Sounds very interesting. Let’s move on to the most important thing. How will it be possible to earn money in the game?

To start earning, we need to buy the Generator for $10, or more precisely for 10 BUSD. We can sell the Generator at any time for the same amount (minus $0.50 commission) or activate it.

To activate a Generator, to need to use it, but in return, we receive 25 Energy. Well, this is where the fun begins…

There is a special system of Arenas built into the game where we fight other players. Each Arena costs a certain amount of Energy and DUST tokens (these are Space Cartels game tokens).

In case of victory, we always get at least one Generator, while the remaining places are rewarded with DMT tokens.

By winning a Generator, we actually automatically earn $9.50, as we can sell it at any time on the game’s marketplace. This sale is secure because we, as creators, always have enough funds in the vault to buy back all existing Generators.

If we win DMT tokens in the Arena, we can use them to expand our base or to open a so-called Mystery Box. In Mystery Boxes, we can find all sorts of items useful in the game, but also a Generator.

In short, to expand our cartel base, we need DMT tokens, which we acquire in the Arena. On the other hand, to play in the Arena, we require DUST tokens, which we acquire by expanding our base.

What’s more, we can also sell both of these tokens on the game’s marketplace for BUSD.

A very interesting mechanic, I must admit. How much can you earn in Space Cartels in a month?

The Generator, which we buy for $10, gives us 25 Energy. The cheapest Arena, on the other hand, costs just 1 Energy. If we manage to win the Generator, we can immediately sell it and earn $9.50.

On the other hand, we still have the remaining 24 Energies left for the next battles….

So, I would not like to give here the exact amounts we will earn per month. If we approach it head-on and have a bit of luck, we can earn tens of dollars in one day.

And how much time per day do you have to spend playing?

This is something that sets us apart from other games of this type.

You literally only have to go into the game a few times a day for a few minutes, perform a few actions, and then come back a few hours later to see what the results of our actions are.

So, if you have a moment of time while waiting for someone or for a taxi, instead of scrolling Facebook or Instagram, you can perform a few actions in Space Cartels and make a nice profit in the process.

Thank you for the interview!
