The Gaming Ecosystem Meets in İzmir, Türkiye: Applications Now Open for the 12th DIGIAGE Game Development Camp

Türkiye’s most comprehensive game development ecosystem, DIGIAGE, has officially opened applications for its 12th Game Development Camp. Organized in collaboration with Bilişim Vadisi and the İzmir Development Agency (İZKA), the camp will take place at the Bilişim Vadisi İzmir Campus between September 7–10, 2026.

Since 2019, DIGIAGE has been running programs dedicated to the gaming ecosystem. Through its 11 game development camps to date, it has received more than 19,000 applications, brought together over 1,700 participants, contributed to the formation of more than 350 teams, and supported the development of more than 310 games.

A Production and Collaboration Opportunity for Game Developers

Taking place in İzmir for the second time this year, the camp will provide a valuable space for production, collaboration, and visibility for game developers, entrepreneurs, and teams to receive mentorship, connect with industry professionals, and engage with investors and publishers.

Bringing together game developers, early-stage game teams, entrepreneurs, and ecosystem stakeholders from across Türkiye, the camp will offer participants the opportunity to evaluate their existing game projects with industry professionals, receive strategic feedback from experienced mentors, build connections with ecosystem representatives, and meet with investors and publishers. The program will create a valuable environment for teams with game projects to increase the visibility of their work, establish strong industry relationships, and access investment, publishing, and collaboration opportunities.

DIGIAGE Global Indie Game Summit Brings the Gaming Ecosystem Together in İzmir

Immediately following the camp, İzmir will host another major gathering for the gaming ecosystem—this time on a global scale. Organized for the first time by DIGIAGE, the DIGIAGE Global Indie Game Summit will bring together game developers, entrepreneurs, investors, publishers, and industry professionals in İzmir on September 11–12, 2026.

In addition to the teams participating in the camp, the Summit aims to connect indie game teams from different cities across Türkiye directly with investors, publishers, and international industry stakeholders. The event is positioned as a strategic platform for Turkish indie game teams to expand into the global gaming ecosystem, showcase their projects to international stakeholders, and develop new collaboration opportunities.
