M80 Expands Access to AI Esports Coaching With Omnic.AI

Partnership Brings 24-7 Training to Established Pros, Aspiring Competitors

M80, an international gaming and esports entertainment organization, is expanding access to esports coaching in partnership with the leading AI competitive gaming platform Omnic.AI. Through the duo’s new partnership, M80 will supplement in-person coaching with AI-based training across its current pro rosters and across programs like M80 @ IMG Academy.

“By partnering with Omnic.AI, we’re offering both our current pros and emerging talent with 24-7 free access to resources that will level up their game,” said Marco Mereu, M80 Founder and CEO. “M80 has always embraced the opportunities that cutting-edge technology unlocks, and we’re leaning on it now to help our teams gain an edge over the competition.”

Omnic.AI’s Omnic Forge AI coaching tool leans on computer vision and deep learning to analyze competitors’ gameplay and identify opportunities for improvement. The AI’s dataset is powered by its users’ growth, continually learning from what works and improving upon what doesn’t. After each game, Omnic Forge provides personalized advice, highlight videos, statistics, and aim analysis, and tracks your progress against your peers and top players.

“AI is unlocking new opportunities for gamers – from casual fans to pro players – to improve at the titles they care about most,” said Shubber Ali, Omnic.AI CEO. “In many ways, Omnic Forge is also learning from M80’s top teams. By training on their playstyles and strategies, the AI is better able to coach players of all skill levels.”
